On the Enterprise Supply Chain Management Systems (ESCM) team that supports an established Oracle system that runs processes controlled by UNIX scripts. System assists in managing part availability to Supply Chain Managers for Boeing Mesa Support Systems. This position is a combination of sustaining effort and ongoing new development tasks to enhance the current system. Boeing's Rotorcraft Apache Longbow Helicopter Division in Mesa has 4,900 employees. Its primary customer is the US Army.

ESCM supports asset managers in identifying, predicting, and ordering parts for the Apache helicopter for Boeing customers.

Primary focal for sustaining effort, supporting Service Planning Optimization (SPO), Systems & Logistics Capability (SLIC), Total Asset Visibility (TAV) , Application to Application (A2A), ESCM, Material Resource Planning (MRP), Gold Online Data (GOLD), and Requirement and Demand Management System (RDMS) systems. This involves ensuring that Oracle instances and databases and working, correcting discrepancies between systems, and producing ad hoc reports for our users.

Participated in the Capability Model Maturity Integration (CMMI) system development level three life-cycle and Lean + initiatives.

Systems administration support for DataStream, an asset performance management system, with reporting, work management, and auditing functionality for 200 users. It consists of J2EE (Java), EJB, JSP, and XML, Oracle Discoverer, Oracle 9iAS, and tomcat/apache web methods server.

PL/SQL and UNIX korn shell scripting to support Aerospace Services data warehousing CPU mainframe reduction effort, resulting in savings of $400,000 in three months. Developed Oracle stored procedures to facilitate data warehousing processing. Utilized FilePort, AWK, and C scripting to data-cleanse downloaded IMS mainframe files prior to loading the rows into Oracle tables on UNIX/AIX.
