Onion Soup







Cook 2 cups fine chopped onions in 2 tablespoons bacon grease or butter in a covered sauce pan; shake pan to keep from browning and cook until tender; add 4 cups vegetable or rice stock; boil about 5 minutes, and season with salt, white pepper, and paprika or chili powder; add finely chopped parsely or green pepper if desired.
