No, Palin is wrong. First, there is no health plan yet. Secondly, no hypothetical plan has suggested a "death panel" -- a triaging panel that will allow a 20 year old to live so that a seventy year old can died. It is yet one more example of the big lie of which the Republicans as masters.
As to the Oregan situation, what is preventing Barbara Wagner from buying her own supplemental insurance or private doctor's care? That is certainly available and buying additional medical help is not illegal in Oregan so far as I know. She doesn't have the money? Perhaps that is why we need a national health plan.
